Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM SYDNEY HOBBS 1929 - 2003 Friends of Syd Hobbs sadly announce his death on June 19, 2003 with Danny Monteiro, his primary caregiver, at his side. Syd had been ill for a long time, battling hard against a series of illnesses including cancer. Born in East York, ON, Syd spent most of his adult life in Winnipeg. A figure skater in his youth, he enjoyed painting, crafts and music a great deal. Special friends will miss him dearly. An open house for friends will be held at Danny Monteiros home, 262 Simcoe St. in Winnipeg from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 to celebrate and remember Syds life. Danny would like to thank the family and friends who stood by Syd during his illness, as well as Home and Palliative Care for their support. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
